Hands-On Craftsmanship for All Levels

Lathe workshops: 

Beginner: learn the basics to safely create your own handmade pieces. Learn the fundementals of the wood lathe, such as selecting your wood, various work holding methods, how to use various chisels safely and effectively. You will start and finish a small project (small bowl, honey dipper, vase etc..) and bring it home with you at the end of class.

Intermediate: Refine your skills with specific tools and learn safety and limitations related to advanced workholding metchods. Learn how to apply various finishes (carnuba wax, shellac, laquer, water based and synthetic varnishes, oil finishes, staining and dying). Intermediate turners can practice turning green wood + drying techniques (wood movement for bowls, grain orientation, surface finish for drying bowls, sealing the wood, controlled drying processes and considerations before starting to process raw materials)  

Advanced: advanced turners can practice different techniques such as segmented woodturning, mixed processes and printing your own 3D printed accessories, resin and wood combinations, considerations when working with resins and how to achieve high quality finishes. Advanced classes are open to further investigation - prototyping, precision tolerances and refining proceses.

Carpentry workshops:

For all skill levels - are project orientated and available on a monthly basis. Present your project idea and we can organize an individual or group class.

Workshop Options: Available in small group sessions (max 3 people) or individual sessions.

Validity: Workshops purchased online are valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.

Schedule: Thursdays, 17:00 to 18:30 (other classes available *contact to see monthly class schedule*)

Special Requests: Contact us for special or personal projects.

Past projects: Personalized furniture designed by a student, chess board, flower vase, wood bowl, prototyped wood toys, Christmas ornaments, candle holders. Present your ideas to organize your own class.
